Walk at the 41st Annual MLK Parade and Rally in Fort Worth

NBC 5, Telemundo 39, and The Greater Fort Worth Martin Luther King Holiday Committee invite you to celebrate Dr. King and all his accomplishments with the 41st MLK Parade & Rally on Monday, January 19 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in Fort Worth.

Now in its 41st year, the Greater Fort Worth Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Committee Parade & Rally brings the community together to celebrate Dr. King’s efforts during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s and his vision for justice and equality. Dr. King’s may have given his speech decades ago, but his dream continues today with your participation in the parade and our commitment to build a strong and compassionate future together.

Come to Fort Worth and watch an inspirational line of over 300 acts, featuring community organizations, schools, churches, local leaders and marching bands from six Fort Worth ISD high schools. This year’s Grand Marshals are Dr. Shirley Knox Benton, CEO, Author, and a living legend in education; Nicole Collier, Texas State Representative; Kathleen Hicks, former Fort Worth Mayor Pro-Tem; Dr. Gwen Morrison, Tarrant County Board District 6; Chief Neil Noakes, former Fort Worth Chief of Police; and Toshia Ramsey, owner of Nana’s Kitchen.
