Father Arrested After Shooting Adult Son in Keller Neighborhood

KELLER, TX – A Keller man was arrested early Saturday after shooting his adult son during an incident at a residential home, according to the Keller Police Department.

Officers responded around 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, to a reported shooting in the 800 block of Western Trail. When officers arrived, they detained a male in the front yard of the residence without incident. The man told officers he had shot his son.

Police then located the victim, a 27-year-old man, at a neighboring residence. He had suffered a gunshot wound that was determined to be non-life-threatening. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine, where he was reported to be in stable condition…
