COLLEYVILLE, Texas — Grapevine-Colleyville ISD says they’ve ended talks to reserve their facilities for the upcoming “Islamic Games Dallas” that were scheduled in May 2026, according to a statement shared by the district.
The district says they were aware of a facility rental request for the 2026 Islamic Games, which were scheduled for May 9-10.
“On January 19th, GCISD was made aware that an organization listed as a sponsor of the Islamic Games in North Texas has been declared a Terrorist Organization by the Governor of Texas,” the district says…
