In a week-long span from January 9 to January 16, deputies have made 323 traffic stops and responded to 16 crashes, according to a social media update by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office. The initiative, which is aimed at increasing road safety through heightened enforcement and community involvement, seems to have paid off as the county has reported zero fatal accidents since it began.
