Rush-Hour Chaos: Deadly I-30 Pileup Near Bridgewood Paralyzes Westbound Commute

Yesterday’s commute on I-30 in Fort Worth turned tragic when a multi-vehicle crash near Bridgewood Drive left one person dead and shut down at least part of the interstate. Westbound drivers were stuck in heavy traffic as first responders worked the scene and crews cleared the wreckage, while officials confirmed that a formal investigation was underway.

According to WFAA, Fort Worth police said officers were called to the crash at about 5:01 p.m. and found a multi-vehicle collision on I-30 near Bridgewood Drive. Medical personnel pronounced one person dead at the scene. The department told the station that investigators remained on-site as they worked to piece together what led to the collision.
