TCU students prepare for Lent with faith, fasting and fellowship

TCU, a historically Protestant university, welcomes those of all and of no religion. As Ash Wednesday approaches on February 18, students will be making their Lenten promises and entering into a time of adoration, abstaining from distractions to foster a deeper relationship with and reliance on God.

“Ash Wednesday signifies the beginning of the Lenten season for Catholics, as we prepare our hearts, minds, and souls for the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter,” said Caitlin Tatsch, a sophomore speech-language pathology major.
