ARLINGTON, Texas — The newly-announced Eagles concert at Globe Life Field this May apparently swooped in and stole a North Texas high school’s prom night.
In a letter from V.R. Eaton High School Principal Stacy Miles to seniors, which was sent to WFAA, Miles says their prom contract with Globe Life Field, which was signed last year, was “being disregarded and canceled” due to the world-famous band’s concert booking.
“We learned about this yesterday through promotional emails for the concert,” Miles’ letter read, in part. “In talking with the venue, they do not currently have an equitable solution. We are continuing to try to work with them and negotiate solutions as well as looking for other venues.”…
