A look at the private schools opting out of Texas’ voucher program

TEXAS — As of early March, the Texas comptroller has reported that more than 150,000 applications are in for Texas’ Education Freedom Accounts, the state’s new school voucher program.

The school, with a nonprofit board, has about 140 students ranging from preschool through 12th grade.
