Road rage incident leads to arrest in Arlington, police say

ARLINGTON, Texas — A 19-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after another driver alleged the man displayed a handgun during a road rage incident, Arlington police said.

The alleged victim called officers around 6:25 p.m. to the 4000 block of Great Southwest Parkway, the Arlington Police Department said in a press release. The 23-year-old man told police he was driving eastbound on I-20 between Green Oaks Boulevard and Bowen Road when a pickup truck cut him off, prompting him to honk his horn.

The driver of the pickup then changed lanes, pulled alongside him and displayed a handgun before continuing eastbound, he told police. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported, the release states…
