Murder suspect captured after cutting off ankle monitor and going on the run

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office says a murder suspect who was on the run after she removed her ankle monitor has been captured.

The sheriff’s office said 35-year-old Lisa Mitchell, wanted for allegedly selling fentanyl in North Richland Hills to someone who died, has been captured after cutting off her court-ordered ankle monitor nearly a week ago.

Mitchell was located and taken into custody by TCSO Warrant Deputies following a focused investigation supported by tips from the public. She was arrested without incident and transported to the Tarrant County Jail, where she is now in custody…
