Meet Our March Fort Worthian, Hannah Lacamp Borer

Every month, the print version of Fort Worth Magazine profiles a local mover and shaker who, through their work and personal pursuits, contributes to the fabric of our city. We call this running department — and the person we spotlight — the monthly “Fort Worthian.”

Hannah Lacamp Borer’s Fort Worth roots run as deep as those of a wild fig tree — which also happen to thrive in Cowtown.

Born and raised in the Ridglea area, Lacamp Borer attended Southwest Christian and spent much of her youth barrel racing alongside her sister. “It was a really cool way to grow up,” she says, recalling the fast-paced rodeo life. “I felt like I had the full Fort Worth experience and did it the right way.” She then headed south for Baylor to receive her higher education, leaving her hometown right before it was due for a major glow up.

Once she returned to Fort Worth, the city had completely transformed…
