City hall took its sweet tooth on the road this week, as Haltom City council members dropped in on the newly opened USA Donut, checking out pastry cases, meeting staff and snapping photos that quickly started bouncing around local foodie circles. The shop, operating as USA Donuts & Croissants along the Denton Highway corridor, is rolling out a mix of classic doughnuts, croissant-style breakfast items and kolaches aimed squarely at the morning rush.
