FDA issues warning to Southlake Med Spa for allegedly using illegal, off-brand Botox on patients

SOUTHLAKE, Texas — A Southlake Med Spa received a warning from the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) this month for allegedly administering off-brand, illegal Botox to its customers, according to a warning letter obtained by WFAA.

The warning letter, dated April 1, 2026, accuses Pure Indulgence Aesthetics, located at 1695 East Southlake Boulevard, of administering more Botox than it purchased from AbbVie, the drug’s authorized manufacturer. This indicates that it sourced its product from unauthorized suppliers in violation of federal drug laws, which require certain pharmaceutical distributors to follow rules related to product tracing, product identification, verification, and authorized trading partners.
