Fort Worth resident claims Powerball prize worth more than $2 million after matching five numbers

Fort Worth, Texas – A Fort Worth resident has claimed a significant lottery prize after matching nearly all of the winning numbers in a recent Powerball drawing. The ticket holder secured a prize totaling $2,000,008 from the April 6 drawing, marking a notable win in one of the nation’s most widely played lottery games. Officials confirmed that the individual chose to remain anonymous.

The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip #1866, located at 3436 N. Tarrant Parkway in Fort Worth. Because the ticket qualified as a second-tier win, it matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn but did not match the red Powerball number. The numbers matched were 7, 24, 37, 42, and 57, while the Powerball number drawn was 5.
