Legacy casual dining concept Perkins is set to enter one of America’s largest markets with the signing of a three-unit franchise agreement for the Dallas metro. The agreement is with an ownership group experienced in hotels and restaurants.
Sometimes franchisees are former owners and in others longtime fans.
Naren Patel’s interest in Perkins, though, came from owning the land a restaurant was on. Along with owning hotels across Midwest, Patel is the landlord for a Perkins in Great Bend, Kansas, one that had a good deal of success.
