SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — A sentencing hearing for Shannon O’Connor, also known as the “Los Gatos Party Mom,” is slated to begin Tuesday afternoon. The mother of two will be sentenced by a Santa Clara County Superior Court judge in San Jose.
Several victims will speak in the courtroom on Tuesday and Wednesday before the judge is expected to announce 51-year-old O’Connor’s sentence. Judge Elizabeth Peterson will likely allow “Party Mom” to speak in court as well.
Earlier this year, jurors listened to months of testimony from girls who were sexually assaulted by boys at the mother’s alcohol-fueled sex parties. Jurors deliberated for six days before they convicted O’Connor on dozens of counts, including felony child sex crimes.
