(KRON) — The Redwood City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating the driver of a white truck that fled the scene after a Sunday night crash that killed a 72-year-old woman.
RCPD said officers were dispatched at 9:45 p.m. near Middlefield Road and Beech Street for a report of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian. At the scene, police located the aforementioned victim who was taken to a nearby hospital emergency room and later died from her injuries.
The victim has been identified by the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office as Marie Torres of Redwood City.No description of the suspect has been released. This is an active investigation…
