Asia Live opens at Valley Fair: A behind-the-scenes look at mall’s newest restaurant

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KRON) — After much anticipation of the large Asian food complex at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara, “Asia Live” finally opened its doors on June 19. The two-story establishment is a spin-off of the popular “China Live” in San Francisco, owned by husband-and-wife duo George Chen and Cindy Wong-Chen.

Asia Live spans 15,000 square feet and seats up to 350 guests. It is located at 2855 Stevens Creek Blvd. #1891, next to Shake Shack and across from Eataly.

Expanding from China Live, the South Bay counterpart will feature more than just Chinese food. Asia Live will serve the cuisine of other countries like Thailand, Japan, Korea and India. But the top seller at China Live, “Sheng Jian Bao” dumplings, is on the menu…
