FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Friant man and a woman who was once his fiancée were sentenced on Monday after stealing almost $1 million from a trusted family member, according to the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office.
The DA’s office says 52-year-old Justin Linder Teel of Friant was sentenced to three years in state prison. The victim’s stepdaughter, 52-year-old Gina Denise Abercrombie of Pleasanton, was sentenced to five years of formal probation, 365 days in the Fresno County Jail, and a 10-year criminal protective order prohibiting contact with the victim’s daughter.
