East Bay shop known for viral Dubai chocolate closing: ‘Heartbroken’

(KRON) — A small East Bay business known for selling Dubai chocolate is permanently closing this week. Hanna’s Chocolates in Pleasanton is having its last day on Saturday, July 11, the business announced in a social media post on Wednesday.

“I wish this was easier but if anything small business has taught me is that nothing is ever easy. I thought closing meant I was giving up and I hung on as long as I could. I gave everything I possibly had in me and wish I had more,” the owner wrote in an Instagram post. “All the what if’s…. I am heartbroken. Thank you for being the most amazing customers. For showing up, for all your beautiful messages, small tokens of appreciation and for the endless support. They have touched my heart in ways I wish I could express but words are simply not enough.”
