(KRON) — A 44-year-old San Jose man who police say was out on parole for burglary with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation faces several charges after Milpitas police said he was tied to multiple burglaries throughout the Bay Area.
Scooter-riding burglary spree suspect arrested in San Jose
Police said the investigation started in late June following a burglary at Stratford School on Great Mall Parkway, and officers soon uncovered two more burglaries at the school that they believed to be related.
“As the investigation progressed, our detectives worked closely with surrounding law enforcement agencies and determined the suspect was also linked to multiple school burglaries throughout the Bay Area,” said officials in a social media post Thursday.
Earlier this week, police were alerted that the suspect’s vehicle had returned to Milpitas, and officers soon located the vehicle near the 1400 block of Falcon Drive.
It is not clear what he stole or the approximate value of the items…
