A driver died after crashing into a light pole in San Mateo on Tuesday evening, police said.
The San Mateo Police Department responded around 7:16 p.m. to the 1900 block of Alameda de las Pulgas, where a driver was seen careening through the intersection at Highway 92 before ramming into a light pole.
