Angela’s Kitchen update

I want to send out a big High Four to Dona and Michael Fisher, who joined the growing number of supporters for my campaign for mayor. Thanks for your support of FAAS by making two donations. All the animals and human companions are so grateful for your support.

Earlier this week, I stopped by the soon-to-be-open Angela’s (4.0) on Webster Street. The kitchen is in and the dining room is ready for guests. According to Chef Saboor, there is one more inspection to schedule and then he can officially open the doors. I will report on the opening date as soon as it can be confirmed. I sure hope the Duck Strudel is going to be on the menu.

I have mentioned the butchering of our street trees before, and I decided to revisit a few of them to see how they grew back. The tree on Union Street at Alameda Avenue is looking very sad. Some of the big branches have no growth at all, and I am wondering if there are enough green leaves to provide enough energy to keep the tree alive. This tree is not able to provide any shade which is one of the main reasons for having street trees…
