Dolly Parton’s legacy extends far beyond her decades of music, leaving a lasting impression in the Bay Area through both her artistic influence and her philanthropic work.
In the children’s section of the main San Francisco Public Library, a life-sized cutout of the country music icon highlights her Imagination Library project. Over the past year, her partnership with the library system has delivered approximately 60,000 books nationwide to children enrolled in the program.
