(KRON) — A 52-year-old Menlo Park resident was in East Palo Alto when he was attacked in broad daylight Thursday and suffered fatal injuries, police said.
Police said the assailant was “acting erratically and disrobing in public” on University Avenue when he was first reported to police. When officers arrived on scene at 2:21 p.m., they found the victim suffering from injuries on his face, the East Palo Alto Police Department said.
The victim told officers that he had been assaulted by the suspect. “Officers contacted and detained the individual identified by the victim,” EPAPD wrote.
