Sunnyvale is about to get a taste of a region many local diners have never explored. Khaar, a new restaurant billing itself as a modern Northeast Indian kitchen, is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, September 12, at 4 p.m.
The event will take place at the restaurant’s location at 193 to 195 South Murphy Avenue, in the heart of downtown Sunnyvale.
While Indian restaurants are ordinary across the Bay Area, most menus lean heavily on dishes from the north or south of the country.
