Nearly 1,500 Homes Could Be Coming to 3 Pleasanton Properties

PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA — Three commercial properties in Pleasanton could get a new future as housing sites, under proposed zoning changes headed to the city’s Planning Commission.

The changes would create capacity for up to 1,438 net new homes across approximately 30 acres, according to Pleasanton Weekly’s reporting on the city’s agenda report.

But there’s a distinction for neighbors: rezoning would allow future housing proposals. It would not approve construction of those homes.
