A driver accused of fleeing a South Bay crash left behind a clue that was hard to miss: an imprint of the vehicle’s license plate on the bumper it had just hit.
The Sept. 12 collision injured another driver and two young children, according to CHP San Jose. Officers responded at about 11:10 p.m., but the other driver had already left the scene.
