(KRON) — A man who allegedly assaulted a juvenile with the broad side of a machete in Sunnyvale was arrested on Saturday evening, according to police.
The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety responded to the area of Central and Lincoln avenues on the report of a violent confrontation between a man and three juveniles. Officers learned that the three juveniles were riding their bicycles in the area when a man “struck one of the juveniles on the forehead with the flat side of a machete blade,” authorities said.
The suspect drove away following the assault.
