(KRON) — It’s a big year for Pokémon and fans across every generation are catching them all for the 30th anniversary. To celebrate, Target is hosting a one-of-a-kind, in-store experience on September 27.
There will be 50 stores across the Bay Area participating, including locations in Alameda, San Francisco, San Jose, Fremont, Hayward, Santa Rosa, Napa, among others. Fans can expect themed photo ops and giveaways, special merch, and draw-your-own Pokémon Trading Card Game activity.
The official anniversary for Pokémon is on February 27, but the franchise has been celebrating this milestone all year long.
