San Francisco is heading into a dramatic October temperature swing, with afternoon highs reaching the mid-80s Friday before dropping into the lower 60s early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
The shift will bring a noticeably different feel to the city after several days of sunshine and warm afternoons, with temperatures falling 23 degrees between Friday and Monday.
