( KRON ) — There was a road closure at Watson Canyon Court and Canyon Lakes Drive due to police activity, according to the San Ramon Police Department. The police activity was on the 2000 block of Canyon Lakes.

The police activity was due to an armed and barricaded person who would not communicate with police or leave their home, SRPD Chief Denton Carlson said.
SWAT responded and successfully convinced the suspect to get out. Nobody was injured.
Traffic was delayed at Bollinger Canyon Road and Canyon Lakes. Drivers were advised to avoid the area if possible.
The situation has since been resolved.
