The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office brought charges against a suspect in the Lake Merritt shooting. As per the DA’s announcement, JaJuan Kelly, 23, is facing four counts of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, along with charges for illegal firearm and ammunition possession traced back to prior felony convictions, including robbery, assault weapon possession and grand theft-charges arising from the June 19 incident that left a community in shock and four people wounded.
