Marshawn Lynch Goes Viral With Perfect Arrival to ‘College GameDay’

“College GameDay” made its first-ever appearance at the University of California, and the Golden Bears fans were absolutely electric. Pat McAfee had the crowd hyped up throughout the broadcast as Cal prepares for its Week 6 matchup against the No. 8 ranked Miami Hurricanes.

The Golden Bears have played much better than anticipated after joining the ACC Conference in the offseason. Cal heads into Saturday’s contest with a 3-1 record and has a chance to pull off a major upset.

But during the “College GameDay” broadcast in Berkley, former Cal running back Marshawn Lynch may have stolen the show. The 38-year-old former football star arrived on set the only way he could.

Lynch drove onto the set on the exact cart he drove back in 2006. ESPN’s Jess Sims rode as Lynch’s passenger, holding a large bucket and tossing out bags of Skittles to cheering fans and students. It was just the perfect entrance for the Cal legend.

Lynch originally drove that cart after Cal beat out the Washington Huskies 31-24 in overtime in a 2006 matchup. After rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns, Lynch famously took an injury cart for a joyride .
