California teen, 14, takes own life after vile school bullying for being homeless and having no mom

A teenage boy took his own life after being relentlessly bullied for being homeless and not having a mom, his devastated dad has revealed.

South Bay local Jose Zamora died aged 14 just three months after starting a new school in Santa Clara, California. Sharing the heartbreaking story of his 14 year old son , Jose Bautista said: “He was trying to make me happy. He was trying to be a better child.”

Jose died by suicide on November 5. Mr Bautista was a single parent and revealed the bullying at his boy’s new school had been merciless. “I miss hearing him, seeing him. I miss picking him up,” he shared.

He would collect Jose from football practice at his new school, where he played for the junior varsity team. After his son’s death he learnt that Jose had been bullied for the pair not having a permanent home and absence of a mother in his life.
