SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco police are investigating a shooting near a homeless shelter that left a person with life-threatening injuries Saturday evening. Police said the shooting occurred in the 500 block of Fifth Street. They responded to the area around 6:30 p.m. There, they found the victim with gunshot wounds.
