Homeowners hit back at HOA fines in San Jose community after being ‘spied on’ and left unable to rent

Residents of a condo complex in San Jose, California are celebrating the fact that their Home Owner’s Association (HOA) got a bunch of new members after a long battle with the previous HOA board.

Homeowners of the condo complex claimed that the previous HOA board in their neighborhood went to crazy lengths to monitor homeowners – including giving out thousands of dollars in fines and sending spies to check for violations.

All HOA board members but one were removed leaving resident Alberto Hernandez selected to be one of the new incoming board members as residents explained to KNTV they spent the past years living in fear with the previous board…
