Asian street market event kicks off in San Jose

( KRON ) – A new immersive open-air festival inspired by Asian street markets will have its inaugural event from 4 p.m. through 10 p.m. Friday, March 28 in San Jose. There will be a subsequent market the following day with the same hours.

According to one of the festival organizers, Danny Duong, the market is expecting more than 30,000 attendees.

More than 60 food vendors from all around the Bay Area will be available for a curated artisan marketplace that will highlight local small businesses and creators. Popular restaurants such as Dumpling Time and Koja Kitchen are set to be at the festival.
