Repairs continue on California mountain highway impacted by disruptive slide

Saratoga, CA – Caltrans crews are hard at work repairing a landslide on State Route 9 between Redwood Gulch Road and Sanborn Road, according to Caltrans Bay Area – District 4. The project, running from March 30 to April 6, will take place daily from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane with flagger-controlled access, and occasional five-minute holds may occur. Crews are using a Spyder machine and winch system to remove dirt from the slide area efficiently.

Drivers are urged to plan ahead and check Caltrans QuickMap for updates. Safe driving is encouraged as each step brings the roadway closer to full restoration.
