Two Vallejo residents have been arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting a Contra Costa County man whose burned body was found this month.
The Solano County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burned body on Cherry Glen Road in Vacaville on April 13. A preliminary investigation determined the case was a homicide, with the victim — identified as Bay Point resident Adam Muela — having been fatally shot.
The sheriff’s office later arrested two Vallejo residents suspected of killing Muela. Clifton Summerise, 52, was arrested Tuesday. A 42-year-old woman was also arrested Wednesday, with the sheriff’s office identifying her on social media as Maria DeLeon, though booking records list her name as Maria Anita Williams.
