(KRON) – A traffic stop led to a felon with multiple warrants being arrested, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
At around 8:30 on Friday, San Mateo police officers pulled over a car due to the registered owner/occupant having an outstanding misdemeanor warrant near South Humboldt Street and Third Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle, according to the SMPD, stopped the car and then fled on foot carrying a satchel. Police said the suspect stopped running near the 1000 block of Second Avenue. Police said he was “appearing to access something inside of the satchel.”…
