SJ: Former Fraud Prevention Expert Indicted For Alleged Fraud

A Santa Clara County expert in fraud prevention was indicted for allegedly submitting more than 150 fraudulent healthcare claims, the District Attorney’s Office said Friday.

San Jose resident Faranak Firozan, 47, allegedly submitted over $100,000 in fraudulent claims against her tech company’s health plan.
