Trapped baby raccoon rescued in Alameda County

(KRON) — A baby raccoon stuck between a storage shed and a fence was freed by rescuers in Livermore on Wednesday.

A Livermore Police Department Animal Services officer was the first person called to the home. After realizing the raccoon was stuck, the officer asked for help from the Alameda County Fire Department to save the animal.

“It’s believed the raccoon had been stuck overnight,” LPD said.
