A person was fatally shot in Fremont on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
At around 10:37 a.m., Fremont police officers received reports that a person was shot near Northport Loop West. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and administered medical aid to them until paramedics arrived, police said.
