A man shot early Thursday in North Beach was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, San Francisco police said.
Officers responded to Vandewater and Powell streets around 2:22 a.m. to find the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. Officers provided aid to the victim, and medics took him to a hospital, police said.
