Teens arrested after couple violently robbed outside Pleasanton bank

(KRON) — Two teenage boys, ages 15 and 16, were arrested following a violent robbery outside of a bank in Pleasanton on Friday. According to the Pleasanton Police Department, the suspects are believed to be associated with the 12-year-old and 17-year-old boys who were arrested days earlier in connection with a series of ATM robberies in the city.

Pleasanton officers responded to the unnamed bank on Friday and learned that a husband and wife were robbed of a cashier’s check worth approximately $1,100. The couple were physically assaulted during the robbery, after which three suspects fled in a stolen vehicle, police said.

Officers from the Livermore and Dublin police departments located the stolen vehicle after Pleasanton PD put out an alert to nearby agencies. While attempting to stop the vehicle in Livermore, the suspect vehicle crashed into other cars on North P Street, authorities said.
