SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — As families prepare for the 2025-2026 school year to begin, state and county health officials are asking parents to make sure their children are vaccinated.
The Association of Bay Area Health Officials wrote, “Vaccines are safe, effective, and a routine part of preventative healthcare that protect against serious and infectious diseases.”
San Francisco Health Officer Dr. Susan Philip said, “Diseases such as measles, whooping cough, and polio are preventable thanks to vaccines that have been proven to be safe and effective. Vaccines keep our children healthy so they can learn and thrive at school.”…
