(KRON) — A wrongful death lawsuit was recently filed against a San Jose daycare where two toddlers drowned in a pool. Payton Cobb and Lillian Jade Hanan drowned in a backyard pool at Happy Happy Day Care, which operated in a house at 1054 Fleetwood Avenue, on October 2, 2023.
Attorneys filed the lawsuit July 28 in Santa Clara County court on behalf of both toddlers’ parents. The owners of Happy Happy Daycare, Nina Fathizadeh and Shahin Gheblehshenas, are named as defendants along with the daycare.
