(KRON) — A mother dog and her four puppies were rescued in July by Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office deputies after living in “disturbing conditions”, officials said in a social media post.

SCCSO said deputies were helping its Code Enforcement unit at a property in unincorporated San Jose when they made the alarming discovery.
The dogs were provided with food and water and arenow safely residing at a foster home,said the sheriff’s office.
Authorities did not elaborate on the conditions of where the animals were found. The date and time of the incident was also not shared.
