(KRON) — A person was assaulted Wednesday afternoon at a Caltrain station in Redwood City, officials said. The assault happened around 4:52 p.m. on the southbound platform of the Redwood City Station.
Witnesses tell KRON4 that a man was stabbed. One of them witnessed the stabbing and took photos of first responders tending to the bloodied victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital where their condition is unknown at this time, Caltrain said. As of 7:30 p.m., the southbound platform is closed to the public.
